SHARP Logger Training

Online Training

Online Training is available for Continuing Education credits to those who are current SHARP Loggers or expired less than one year. To become a SHARP Logger for the first time or after a long lapse, please visit the traditional training page to find a Core Program.

To view the online training, click on the link for the presentation you would like to view. The presentation will open up in a new window and begin playing automatically. Make sure that you have your speakers turned on so that you can hear the audio. The presentation will automatically advance forward and will stop at several points for a quiz question. You must answer the quiz correctly in order to continue through the program.

After completing the training click on the appropriate link to receive CE credits. This will open up a new window with a survey form. Follow the directions on the survey form to submit for SHARP Logger CE credits.  You will need to enter your name and SHARP logger number and submit the survey to receive SHARP Logger CE credits. If you have any questions, call 540-231-6494 or e-mail

Please Note:

After submitting the survey at the end of the training, your information will be stored in the list of participants taking the class. SHARP Logger CE Credits DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE to the Website. It may be a while before you notice that your CE credits change in the SHARP Logger database.

You may only take each online class once per 2 year SHARP logger renewal period. SHARP Loggers must complete the SHARP Logger Update class at least once during each 2 year renewal period.

System requirements

You will need to have a recent internet browser and the free adobe flash player. Internet Explorer is not recommended for any SHARP trainings; please use Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

The survey form at the end of each presentation will open in a pop-up window. If your internet browser has the pop-up blocker feature enabled you may need to turn it off or allow the pop-up at the end of the presentation.

"Invasive Insect Pests" and "SHARP Logger Update" were made using a different computer program. The link to fill out the survey does not work on some devices. If this happens to you, take a screenshot or photo of the end of the presentation and email it to or text it to 540-231-6494. Please include your full name and SHARP Logger Number in your message.
